Slabs of ribs lead interesting lives. They, um, stand there, expressing an ironic detachment about the absurdity of living. And they host barbecues while wearing glasses and baseball caps! Pig ribs are just like you and me. Only more so.
For, you see, they've been to the other side of the mountain! They've experienced life and then death! And now they're enjoying their second life and seeing it through new eyes.
Like survivors of disasters or medical close-calls, they have a newfound respect, a deep, soulful appreciation for life. For their own bodies. For the pleasures and pains yet to experience!
And now that they've received this second chance, they do the only thing that makes any sense at all for beings who have glimpsed the mystery of existence: they get ready to die all over again!
